Juma Al-Majid was awarded the prize for his significant contributions in science, supporting those in need, and establishing free-of-charge private schools, which contains roughly 5500 male and female students. He also founded the College of Islamic and Arabic Studies, which provides free education for both graduate and undergraduate studies and contains more than 2000 students; in fact, the college offers financial aid for those in need. He established the Juma Al-Majid Center for Culture and Heritage, which provides free services for researchers, and is considered one of the most crucial cultural centers. He also offered scholarships for some students to continue their education overseas, built schools in many poor Islamic countries, offered financial support for many Islamic center globally, and contributed in establishing Bait Al-Khair Society, which supports poor Muslim families in his country.
