The Third International Conference entitled “Arabic Language and Literary Achievements in Foreign Studies”, organized by the Department of Arabic Language and Literature in cooperation with the King Faisal Prize, seeks to enhance and popularize the foreign studies that dealt with these achievements, highlight the efforts of translation into other cultures, and encourage the systematic studies on these achievements. It likewise seeks to rethink these achievements through an objective critique and evaluation. The themes of the third conference focused on multiple topics, notably comparative studies on language and literature; linguistic studies on grammar, morphology and lexicography, as well as studies on ancient and modern Arabic literature, in addition to encyclopedias, book critical examination, translations, and scholarly theses.
